What the bunny hive looks for in a franchisee studio owner
Financials

  • One-time franchise fee of $42,000 due at signing.
  • Ongoing monthly royalty fee equal to 7% of your studio’s gross revenue.
  • Total investment: $145,000-$235,000 (depending on market, build-out requirements, etc.). Our team can give you information regarding third party loan options.
Personality, experience, commitment

  • Passion for community involvement.
  • Understanding and love for the brand experience.
  • Joy for collaborating with and empowering women.
  • The ability and desire to spend 6-12 month as the full-time Studio Director of your studio with an on-site presence of 3-5 days per week. You have the option to hire a full-time or part-time Studio Director once your studio and your team are stable, however, this opportunity is best for a someone who would like to be the primary owner/operator. This is not ideal for someone interested in a passive investment opportunity.

As Chief Executive Officer, she oversees every aspect of the business – from programming and partnerships to studio operations – and continues to serve as a direct resource for franchisees seeking one-on-one support.

Katy leads programming and curriculum development at The Bunny Hive, guiding the strategy behind our offerings and ensuring each class delivers meaningful connection and engagement. With a background in education and the non-profit sector, she also plays a key role in training and supporting studio teams across the system.


MARIA

Maria leads The Bunny Hive’s franchise discovery process and serves as the first point of contact for prospective franchisees. She guides candidates through each step – from initial inquiry to decision-making – by answering questions, coordinating meetings with the founders, and offering thoughtful support along the way.

Grace, originally from Dallas, Texas, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. With a background in both art and working with children, she plays an integral role on our corporate team – supporting studio owners with branding, design, marketing, website needs, and more.

Maggi, originally from Traverse City, Michigan, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Musical Theatre. As our Franchise Support Specialist, she plays a vital role in assisting the corporate team across a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

Justin is the former CEO of Code Ninjas and has served as COO of Brain Balance Achievement Centers and VP of International Operations and Development at School of Rock. He is an expert in franchise leadership and operations with proven success in scaling and managing franchise networks. Additionally, Justin has private equity experience with Sterling Partners, Crane Street Capital, and Eagle Merchant Partners.

Matt is a seasoned marketing executive with leadership roles at BYJU’S, Anheuser-Busch, and Code Ninjas. He possesses expertise in full-stack marketing, brand development, and market penetration. Additionally, he has private equity experience with the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, Edison Partners, Sequoia Capital, and BlackRock.

Barry has over 20 years of operationally focused financial leadership experience across three continents, having worked with a variety of companies including RF Hotels, Heineken, Accenture, and Aggreko. He also brings valuable private equity experience with firms such as American Industrial Partners, TDR, I Squared, and EMP.
